4-year-old Liubomir from Lviv, Ukraine has always been an active and happy boy. He loved his soccer team and was never sick.
In May 2020 Liubomir was discovered to have a large tumor in his left kidney – 16.5×13.5cm. He was immediately hospitalized in a local hospital for evaluation that confirmed cancer diagnosis. Liubomir underwent initial chemotherapy. But further treatment, including surgery and radiation, would be difficult to accomplish in Ukraine where specialized pediatric cancer care is concentrated in its capital city, Kyiv and the facilities are often overwhelmed. Liubomir’s parents decided to travel to Barcelona, Spain instead. They will appreciate any help!
